(1) The passport holder shall use the diplomatic passport or special passport issued in accordance with this regulation only for the purpose for which it was issued.

(2) This Regardless of what is written elsewhere in the rules, a person holding a public position may keep a diplomatic or special passport with him for the duration of holding such position. However, such a passport cannot be used except when traveling abroad in connection with the work of the Government of Nepal.

(3) According to the decision of the Government of Nepal, officials who travel abroad in connection with government work shall use the passport issued according to their authority.
